Law Garden

Law Garden is a well-known public garden located in the Ellisbridge area of central Ahmedabad, Gujarat, near Gujarat Law Society and CEPT University. Maintained by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, it features landscaped lawns, walking paths and shaded seating areas. The garden is widely recognized for its adjacent evening handicraft and street market offering traditional Gujarati textiles, jewelry and street food, making it a popular recreational and shopping destination.

Visitors can expect a landscaped urban garden with green lawns, tree-lined walking paths, benches and open spaces for relaxation and leisure walks. In the evening, the adjoining footpath area transforms into a vibrant street market with stalls selling handicrafts, Bandhani and mirror-work clothing, jewelry and local street food. Law Garden was developed and is maintained by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation as an urban recreational space for the Ellisbridge area. It derives its name from the nearby Government Law College.
