About Ko Lao Liang
Ko Lao Liang is a pair of small limestone islands in Mu Ko Phetra National Park off the coast of Palian District in Trang Province, southern Thailand. Known for dramatic karst cliffs, white-sand beaches and clear turquoise water, the islands are managed as a seasonal national park destination. Access is by chartered longtail boat and overnight stays are in park-managed tents.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect two narrow islands with steep limestone karst cliffs rising above a short white-sand beach and clear shallow water. The main visitor area on Ko Lao Liang Nuea has a beachfront tent camp, a small restaurant and snorkeling and kayaking areas along the reef. Surroundings are undeveloped and quiet, with views of nearby islands in the Andaman Sea. Exploration is limited to the beach, swimming area and designated snorkeling and climbing zones.
