Often called Deer Island, it is known for its herd of free-roaming deer, savanna-like interior, coconut plantations and fringing coral reefs. The island has a distinctive flat topography resembling paper, from which its name derives, and is visited primarily as a quiet day-trip destination for nature, beaches and snorkeling.
