About Killcare Beach
Killcare Beach is a sandy ocean beach on the Bouddi Peninsula at Killcare on the New South Wales Central Coast, about 100 kilometres north of Sydney. Fringed by Bouddi National Park and residential headlands, it faces east to the Tasman Sea. Known for its relatively sheltered conditions, clear water and scenic setting, it is popular for swimming, surfing and family beach walks away from more developed Central Coast beaches.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a relatively sheltered, sandy ocean beach backed by Bouddi National Park and low residential headlands. The beach is open and unpatrolled with clear water, gentle to moderate surf depending on conditions, and rock platforms at either end. There is a small reserve with picnic facilities behind the sand, street parking and beach access via paths and stairs. The setting is quiet and residential with no commercial development directly on the sand.
