Khao Daeng Viewpoint

Khao Daeng Viewpoint is a hilltop viewpoint inside Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park in Khao Daeng Subdistrict, Sam Roi Yot District, Prachuap Khiri Khan. Reached by a steep 500-meter trail, it offers panoramic views over Khao Daeng village, Khlong Khao Daeng canal, limestone karsts, shrimp farms and the Gulf of Thailand. It is notable as the park's most popular sunrise viewpoint and accessible hiking destination.

Visitors can expect a short but steep hike of about 500 meters to a summit platform at approximately 300 meters elevation. The trail includes uneven steps, rocks and exposed sections. At the top, a viewpoint platform provides 360-degree views of Khao Daeng fishing village, the winding Khlong Khao Daeng, coastal plains, limestone mountains of Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and the Gulf of Thailand. There are no shops at the summit; facilities are at the park headquarters at the base.
