About Kanyaka Ruins
Kanyaka Ruins is a State Heritage-listed pastoral station ruin located on Flinders Ranges Way at Kanyaka, about 40 km north of Quorn in South Australia. Established in 1852 as Kanyaka Station, it was once one of the largest pastoral holdings in the region. The extensive stone ruins include the homestead, woolshed, huts, and cemetery, illustrating 19th-century pastoral settlement abandoned after drought and hardship.
