History of Imbiah Trail
Mount Imbiah was part of Sentosa's former military area when the island was known as Pulau Blakang Mati. The hill and surrounding forest served strategic purposes before Sentosa's redevelopment for leisure and tourism from the 1970s. The present forest is secondary regrowth preserved as a nature area within the island's development plan.
