Igorot Stone Kingdom

Igorot Stone Kingdom is a man-made cultural theme park in Pinsao Proper, Baguio City, Benguet. Built with layered stones resembling a castle fortress on a mountainside, it was created to showcase Igorot culture and indigenous architecture. The attraction features stone walls, towers, bridges, and sculptures inspired by Cordilleran traditions, offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and city landscape.

Visitors can expect a hillside complex of stacked stone walls, castle-like towers, bridges, and pathways built on multiple levels. The site includes Igorot-inspired huts, wooden sculptures, statues of Cordilleran figures, and viewing decks overlooking Baguio. Paths involve steep stairs and uneven stone surfaces. Areas are designed for sightseeing and photography with cultural displays, souvenir shops, and food stalls within the compound.

Constructed by local builder Pio Velasco starting around 2019 and opened to the public in 2021. The structure was built manually by stacking stones without cement reinforcement in some sections, inspired by Igorot stone walling traditions and intended as a tribute to Cordilleran heritage.

Showcases Igorot and broader Cordilleran culture through architecture, sculptures, and displays inspired by indigenous houses, traditional attire, and folklore. Serves as a cultural education site highlighting stone craftsmanship and indigenous identity of the Benguet region.
