History of Gurdwara Gurusar Pakka Sahib
Gurdwara Gurusar Pakka Sahib commemorates visits by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (9th Sikh Guru) in 1665 during his Malwa travels and Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Sikh Guru) in 1705-1706 after leaving Anandpur Sahib. The large sarovar was originally kacha (earthen) and later made pakka (brick-lined), giving the gurdwara its name to distinguish it from the nearby Gurusar Kacha Sahib. The shrine was later developed with support from Patiala State.
