Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a wide open bowl-shaped meadow surrounded by forested slopes and mountain ridges. In summer the meadow is green and suitable for walking, picnicking and photography with views of distant peaks. In winter it is covered in deep snow and used for skiing, snowboarding and sledging. There are no built structures except roadside tea stalls and parking areas; the experience is primarily natural landscape, open skies and seasonal snow activities.
