About Great Ocean Drive
Great Ocean Drive is a 38-kilometre sealed scenic loop road south and west of Esperance in Western Australia's Golden Outback region. Starting from the Esperance foreshore, it winds past windswept headlands, white-sand beaches and granite lookouts overlooking the Recherche Archipelago. Notable for its turquoise bays, coastal lookouts and accessible beaches including Twilight Beach and Observatory Point, it offers a compact overview of Esperance's coastline.
Visitors guide
Visitors can drive the sealed 38km loop in a 2WD vehicle, stopping at marked bays, lookouts and beaches.
