Visitors can expect a tranquil seasonal lake surrounded by paperbark and banksia woodland on the Swan Coastal Plain. A flat walking trail circles part of the lake with an elevated bird hide and viewing platform for observing waterbirds, ducks and migratory waders when water is present. In winter and spring the lake holds water and is active with birdlife; in summer it may dry out exposing mudflats.
