About East Point Reserve
East Point Reserve is a large coastal reserve at East Point in Darwin, Northern Territory, overlooking Beagle Gulf. Covering about 200 hectares, it combines natural bushland, mangroves and open parkland with recreational facilities. It is notable for Lake Alexander, a man-made seawater swimming lake, the Darwin Military Museum and World War II gun emplacements, walking and cycling trails, and resident agile wallabies. It is one of Darwin's most popular outdoor recreation areas.
