History of Eagle's Crag Viewpoint
Developed during the British colonial period as a scenic lookout above Kurseong, then a hill station and sanatorium town. The crag was named for its resemblance to an eagle's nest and also houses a historic water reservoir that supplied the town. It has long served as a vantage point for observing the surrounding valleys and Himalayan peaks.
