Dr. Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Regional Science Centre

Dr. Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Regional Science Centre is an interactive science centre located within Pilikula Nisargadhama at Vamanjoor on the outskirts of Mangaluru, Karnataka. Named after Jnanpith laureate Dr. K. Shivaram Karanth, it was developed to promote scientific temper through hands-on exhibits. The centre features galleries on physics, biology and astronomy, a planetarium, 3D theatre and outdoor science park, serving as a major educational attraction in coastal Karnataka.

Visitors can expect a modern science centre spread across indoor galleries and an outdoor science park within the green Pilikula Nisargadhama complex. Inside are interactive exhibits on physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and fun science, along with a planetarium and 3D theatre offering scheduled shows. Outdoor installations demonstrate scientific principles through hands-on models.
