About Downtown East

Downtown East is an integrated lifestyle and recreation hub in Pasir Ris, eastern Singapore, operated by NTUC Club. Located at 1 Pasir Ris Close, it combines the Wild Wild Wet water park, D'Resort, E!Hub entertainment mall and Market Square. Opened in 2000 and extensively rejuvenated from 2015 to 2018, it serves as a family-oriented resort, shopping, dining and events destination near Pasir Ris Park and the coastline.

Visitors can expect a large integrated resort and mall complex with an outdoor water park, resort chalets and rooms, an entertainment mall with cinema, bowling, karaoke and arcade, plus open-air dining at Market Square. History of Downtown East

Developed by NTUC Club and opened in 2000 as an affordable lifestyle and recreation destination for workers and families. Underwent a major S$220 million rejuvenation from 2015 to 2018 that rebuilt E!Hub, upgraded Wild Wild Wet and rebranded the resort as D'Resort, reopening in phases from 2018.

Culture & Context

Functions as a community recreation hub for NTUC members and the general public, providing affordable family leisure, staycations, dining and large-scale community events and festivals in eastern Singapore.

Pasir Ris Park

Pasir Ris Park is a 70-hectare coastal park in Pasir Ris in eastern Singapore, stretching along the coastline between Sungei Tampines and Sungei Api Api. Pasir Ris Town Park

Pasir Ris Town Park is a community town park located in Pasir Ris Central in eastern Singapore, adjacent to Pasir Ris MRT Station and White Sands mall. Managed by the National Parks Board, it serves the Pasir Ris New Town with open lawns, a fishing pond, children's playgrounds and fitness corners. The park provides accessible green recreational space within the town centre and links to the Park Connector Network.

Changi Beach Park

Changi Beach Park is a 28-hectare coastal park along the northeastern shoreline of Singapore in the Changi planning area. Stretching 3.3 kilometres between Changi Point and Changi Ferry Terminal, it is one of Singapore's oldest coastal parks. Known for its sandy beach, casuarina trees, and views of Pulau Ubin and passing aircraft from Changi Airport, the park offers barbecue pits, camping areas, cycling paths and fishing spots for local families and visitors.
