About Dole Pineapple Plantation
The Dole Pineapple Plantation is a large-scale agricultural estate operated by Dole Philippines Inc. (Dolefil) in Polomolok, South Cotabato, at the foothills of Mount Matutum. Established in the 1960s, it is one of the largest pineapple plantations in the Philippines, covering thousands of hectares. The plantation is notable for its extensive pineapple fields, industrial cannery operations, and scenic backdrop of Mount Matutum, representing a major agribusiness landmark in Mindanao.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect vast, orderly fields of pineapple stretching across the plains at the foot of Mount Matutum. The plantation is a working agricultural and industrial estate, not a conventional theme park. Viewing is primarily from public roads and designated viewpoints along the General Santos-Polomolok highway, with rows of pineapple plants, service roads, and distant views of the cannery complex and Mount Matutum. Guided tours inside the fields and cannery are only available by prior arrangement with Dole Philippines.
