About Depth Pool (Death Pool)
Depth Pool, commonly called Death Pool, is a natural tidal rock pool located along the rocky coastline of Barangay Baruan in Agno, Pangasinan. Formed by coastal rock formations facing the West Philippine Sea, it fills with clear seawater during high tide and retains water at low tide. It is notable for its considerable depth, clear turquoise water, and dramatic cliffside setting near Umbrella Rocks.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a natural seawater pool enclosed by sharp limestone and rock formations along the Agno coastline. The pool is accessible via a short trek over rocky terrain from Baruan. At low tide, the water is calm and clear for wading and swimming, surrounded by cliffs and open sea views. There are no built structures, shops, or developed beach facilities; the setting is rugged and natural with exposed rocks and sea spray.
