About Dalhousie Springs
Dalhousie Springs is a complex of more than 60 artesian mound springs in Witjira National Park in Far North South Australia, about 180 km north of Oodnadatta. Fed by the Great Artesian Basin, it is Australia's largest mound spring complex. The main spring forms a large warm pool popular for swimming, set in an arid desert landscape with wetlands, birdlife and historic pastoral ruins.
