About Corin Forest
Corin Forest is a mountain recreation park located in the Tidbinbilla Range near Paddys River, about 45 minutes southwest of central Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. Set within a former pine plantation at around 1,200 metres elevation, it is known as Australia's most northerly lift-serviced ski area and a year-round outdoor recreation destination offering snow play in winter and an alpine slide, walking trails and mountain biking in warmer months.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a forested mountain setting with open snow-play areas, a beginner ski slope with lifts, a 1.2 km alpine slide winding through pine forest, walking trails and picnic areas. Facilities include a cafe, equipment hire, ski school and car parking. In winter the area is set up for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing when natural and artificial snow allows; in summer the focus is on the alpine slide, bushwalks and scenic mountain views near Namadgi National Park and Corin Dam.
