Colmar Tropicale

Colmar Tropicale is a French-themed resort village located at Bukit Tinggi in Bentong District, Pahang, Malaysia, about 2,600 feet above sea level within the Berjaya Hills development. Modeled after the 16th-century town of Colmar in Alsace, France, it features colorful half-timbered buildings, a clock tower, cobblestone streets and a castle-like hotel. It is notable as a hillside leisure destination offering European architecture, dining, accommodation and family attractions near Kuala Lumpur.

Visitors can expect a compact European-style village with colorful half-timbered facades, cobblestone streets, a central clock tower and courtyard, and a chateau-style hotel overlooking the highland forest. The setting is on a hill at about 800 meters elevation with cooler air. Visitors can walk through the streets, view French-inspired architecture, dine at cafes and restaurants, shop for souvenirs, stay overnight in themed accommodation, and access nearby Berjaya Hills attractions such as the Japanese Village and Botanical Garden.

Developed by Berjaya Corporation Berhad as part of the Berjaya Hills Resort and opened in 2000, Colmar Tropicale was built as a replica of the town of Colmar in Alsace, France, to create a European-themed hill resort destination in Malaysia.

Showcases Alsatian French architectural style, town layout and streetscape, offering visitors an experience of European village culture, cuisine and design within a Malaysian highland setting. It serves as a themed leisure and cultural tourism attraction.
