About Coal Creek Community Park and Museum
Coal Creek Community Park and Museum is an open-air heritage village on 15 hectares at Korumburra in South Gippsland, Victoria. Established in 1974 to preserve the region's coal mining and pioneer history, it recreates a township from the 1870s to 1920s with relocated historic buildings, mining exhibits and a bush tramway. The park combines museum displays, parkland and wetlands, offering insight into Gippsland's coal industry that operated from the 1890s to 1958.
