Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a quiet, seasonal freshwater tank surrounded by agricultural fields and scrub, with shallow water, bunds and a watchtower for observation. During season, large flocks of pelicans, herons, egrets, cormorants, darters and other waterbirds can be seen nesting and roosting on acacia trees in and around the tank. The site is small and natural with minimal development, suitable for birdwatching, photography and nature walks along the bund.
