Chennimalai Handloom Weaving Cluster

Chennimalai Handloom Weaving Cluster is a traditional handloom centre located in Chennimalai town in Erode District, Tamil Nadu. It is known for its long-standing cotton handloom industry producing sarees, bedsheets, towels and furnishing fabrics. The cluster operates largely through cooperative societies and numerous household pit-looms, preserving traditional weaving techniques and supporting the local weaver community.
