About Charavane Waterfalls
Charavane Waterfalls, also known as Agadacho Waterfall, is a seasonal three-tiered cascade located in Charavane village within Sattari taluka of North Goa. Situated at the base of Chorla Ghat and inside the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary region, it flows primarily during the monsoon season. The waterfall is accessed via a moderate forest trek involving stream crossings and offers views of dense Western Ghats vegetation rather than developed tourist infrastructure.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a 1.5 km moderate jungle trek from Charavane village that takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes one-way through dense forest and paddy fields. The trail requires crossing two natural mountain streams which may have strong currents during heavy rains. At the destination, visitors encounter a multi-tiered cascading waterfall surrounded by lush tropical greenery with no commercial facilities or food stalls on site.
