About Chachai Waterfall
Chachai Waterfall is a 130-metre waterfall on the Bihad River, a tributary of the Tamsa River, located near Chachai village in Rewa District, Madhya Pradesh. Situated about 46 km from Rewa city, it is the second highest waterfall in Madhya Pradesh after Bahuti Falls. The falls are most impressive during the monsoon season when the river is in full flow, surrounded by forested and rocky terrain.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a tall single-drop waterfall plunging about 130 metres from a rocky cliff into a gorge below on the Bihad River. The site is set in a forested, semi-arid landscape with viewpoints from the cliff top. There are no major built structures; the experience is primarily sightseeing and photography of the falls and valley. Access involves walking on natural, uneven paths to viewpoints.
