About Cat Co 1 Beach
Cat Co 1 Beach is the largest of the three Cat Co beaches on Cat Ba Island in Cat Hai District, Hai Phong, Vietnam. Located southeast of Cat Ba Town facing Lan Ha Bay, it features a wide crescent of fine sand backed by limestone hills and resorts. Known for clear water and a swimming area, it is connected to Cat Co 2 Beach by a cliffside walkway and serves as the main beach destination for visitors to Cat Ba.

Visitors can expect a wide, curved sandy beach set between limestone hills and forested headlands on the southeast edge of Cat Ba Town. The beach has clear, shallow water for swimming, sun loungers and umbrellas for rent, and views over Lan Ha Bay. A paved cliffside path connects Cat Co 1 to Cat Co 2 Beach, offering scenic coastal views. The area is lined with resorts, restaurants and bars, and is most lively in summer.
