Canhugas Nature Park

Canhugas Nature Park is a coastal nature park in Hernani, Eastern Samar, located in Barangay 2 along the Pacific coastline. Managed by the local government as an eco-tourism site, it features a white sand beach, distinctive rock formations, mangrove areas and shaded grounds. The park is notable for its natural coastal landscape, picnic cottages and swimming area, serving as a local recreation and day-trip destination in Eastern Samar.

Visitors can expect a coastal park setting with a sandy beach, rocky shoreline, mangrove patches and open grassy areas with rented cottages and picnic tables. The area offers views of the Pacific Ocean, calm sections for wading and swimming when sea conditions allow, and shaded spots for picnics and relaxation. Facilities are basic and locally managed, with cottages, toilets and parking available near the beachfront.
