About Bicol National Park
Bicol National Park is a protected natural area spanning parts of Sipocot and Lupi in Camarines Sur and Basud in Camarines Norte, Bicol Region, Philippines. Established in 1934, it covers approximately 5,201 hectares of lowland tropical forest along the Andaya Highway. The park is notable for its dense forest cover, watershed functions, and biodiversity, serving as a natural corridor between the two Camarines provinces and a remnant of old-growth forest in southern Luzon.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a forested protected area traversed by the Andaya Highway (Rolando Andaya Highway) with dense lowland tropical forest, rolling terrain and watershed areas. The park is largely undeveloped for mass tourism, offering natural scenery, roadside forest views, and informal trails through woodland.
