History of Baghawali Kothi
Dujana was established as a princely state in 1806 when the estate was granted to Nawab Abdus Samad Khan. The state, covering about 30 square miles, was ruled by his descendants under British paramountcy until its accession to India in 1948. Baghawali Kothi is locally associated with this Nawabi period and illustrates the residential heritage of the former estate in present-day Jhajjar district.
