Sheikh Chilli's Tomb

Sheikh Chilli's Tomb is a 17th-century Mughal funerary complex located in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Built during Emperor Shah Jahan's reign in memory of the Sufi saint Abd-ur-Rahim, known as Sheikh Chehli and spiritual teacher of Prince Dara Shikoh, it is noted for its Persian-influenced architecture, marble cenotaph and adjoining madrasa. Maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India, the complex also houses an archaeological museum and Mughal gardens.

Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre

Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre is a science museum and panorama centre located on Pehowa Road in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, Haryana. Developed by the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, it was inaugurated in 2001. It is notable for its 34-foot high cylindrical panorama depicting episodes from the Mahabharata war, along with interactive science galleries, a science park and a 3D theatre.
