About Baan Hollanda
Baan Hollanda is a museum marking the former Dutch East India Company (VOC) settlement in Ayutthaya, located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River south of the historic island. Established as an information centre after archaeological excavations in 2003-2004, it displays artifacts, maps and interactive exhibits about 17th-century Dutch-Thai trade relations. The two-storey building incorporates archaeological remains and offers riverside views, illustrating Ayutthaya's role as an international trading hub.

The ground floor displays archaeological remains and artifacts uncovered on site, while the upper floor features interactive exhibitions, maps, models and multimedia about the VOC presence in Ayutthaya, daily life in the settlement and Thai-Dutch trade. The building is set in a quiet riverside location with views of the Chao Phraya River and landscaped grounds.
