About Asik-Asik Falls
Asik-Asik Falls is a curtain-type waterfall in Sitio Dulao, Barangay Upper Dado, Alamada, Cotabato, Philippines. It is notable for a wide wall of water seeping from a vegetated cliff with no visible river above, fed by underground springs. Approximately 60 meters wide and over 30 meters high, it is set in a forested gorge with rocky slopes. The falls gained wider attention around 2012 and is now a major ecotourism attraction in Cotabato province.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a wide curtain of water flowing down a cliff face covered with ferns and vegetation into a shallow rocky basin surrounded by forest and limestone walls. Access involves a habal-habal ride to the jump-off and a descent of more than 300 concrete steps to a viewing area. Visitors can view the falls from the basin, take photos, wade in designated shallow areas, and explore the surrounding forest trail and cottages near the site.
