About Anggi Lakes
Anggi Lakes are a pair of highland lakes — Anggi Giji and Anggi Gida — located in Anggi District, Pegunungan Arfak Regency, West Papua, Indonesia, at about 1,900-2,000 meters above sea level in the Arfak Mountains. Surrounded by misty hills, grasslands and traditional villages, the lakes are notable for their contrasting waters, scenic mountain setting, cool climate, endemic birdlife and cultural importance to the local Arfak communities.
